We got a call from Jana at Lifeline this week. She says that it is taking as much as four months after submission for an appointment. So it could be February before we are going to be going to the Ukraine. I guess God has a plan and we are just waiting for him to reveal it to us.

We are anxiously awaiting the submission of our paperwork. We will hopefully be submitted on Monday according to Sasha. We had to update a lot of our paperwork because of the new law in the Ukraine. Everything should be finished with Apostille today, October 4. Please keep us in your prayers as they are telling us we should travel around December 16. Tammy

Thanks for the comments
We plan to keep blogging all the way through. I would like to see your blogspot, thanks for the address. I talked to Jana this week and she thinks we are in the next group of submissions. So hopefully we will hear something soon.
Thanks for all your prayers and concern.

Awaiting Appointment
Our names are Kevin and Tammy Huckabee. We are in the process of waiting to go to the Ukraine to adopt a beautiful baby girl. We started the process last September and are hoping to travel soon. Our dossier went to the Ukraine around the first of May. We have three children. Breanne who is 22 and is a nursing student. Shohn who is 20 and owns his own construction business, and finally Alyssa who is 2 1/2 and can hardly wait to meet her new sister Kailyn. We live in El Paso, TX and both of us are retired. We are so enjoying being able to spend such quality time with Alyssa and will be more excited to spend time with both of the girls. God has blessed our family enormously and we would like to be able to share those blessing with another child.
