Getting It all Together

We are busy now trying to put all the ducks in a row. Cameras, SD cards, Flash Drives and so forth. I am going to take the laptop today to have more memory added. It doesn't have enough for all we would like to do while in the Ukraine. We are already having trouble with it here so I know we need to work on it before we go. Does anybody have any thought on what the weather will be like in September? August I am pretty sure of, but if we have to stay longer I would like to know what it would be like in September.

The weather tends to start cooling down in September, but don't expect to have heat if it gets cold - that's controlled by the government & often isn't turned on until sometime in October. The info below if for Kyiv...

Average Aug low/high: 58/75
Average Sep low/high: 50/67

Of course, a lot will depend on what region you're in, too! We were in southeastern Ukraine and it was a bit warmer than in Kyiv.

Good luck as you guys make all your preparations!

Your weather will vary greatly based on the region you travel to. We are planning on the "layer" approach to cover us either way. Good luck in all your preparations.
