We are posting early today, so not much news on the Jaryd camp. Kevin's mom e-mailed and wanted to see a picture of Alyssa with the family on family meeting day. Here it is. Jacob had a water bottle in his face. This is the only one that Kailyn would let us get taken.
We are having dinner with our driver Alec and his family again tonight so we weren't sure we would get to post when we get home.
Jacob started calling himself Jacob today. that is a real break through. He is now calling Kailyn "Kaldoon." Which we have been told in Ukranian means "wizard." He thinks it is too funny to call her Kaldoon. I am afraid that is going to stick. We were all calling her that by the end of the morning.
We had moma's peach pie again this morning. They both can say that very clearly. And Jacob is starting to say more and more English words. Jaryd is also getting much better.
Alyssa and Kevin are taking a nap now and then I will go and wake up Kevin and he will come and spend a little time answering e-mails before we leave for the evening. Hope everyone is having a great Sunday. We missed being at church with everyone.
Thanks for all the great comments once again. We love reading them.

Things look like they are going well for your family. We are so happy for you. Would you mind asking around for me if anyone has news about the passport office reopening? We are not getting a response from our facilitator and it's very frustrating.

God bless,
Cathy

Its amazing how different the orphanage looks in the summer. In the winter everything was dreary looking, barely any sunshine. The contrast is almost startling. I wish that we had taken pictures of the neighborhood and the houses as we entered the street of the orphanage. I highly recommend that you do. Almost every evening there were two babushkas that would herd their goats to graze in the clearing across the street from the gates at the orphanage. That we did get a picture of though.

Great pictures! Everyone looks like they are having so much fun! I LOVE the picture of daddy and his newest little girl! How precious! That will need to be framed when you get home!
