Well we had another cold day.  We were insdie for both visits today.  It was pretty calm for the most part.  Jaryd got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.  I knew it was coming.  I just hoped it would be later than sooner.  We are starting to do the this could be the last  time thing.  We are really hoping for those passports tomorrow.
Church of Grace if you get this before service, please pray. We would love to get home soon.  I think they might be here early in the morning.  We are not sure.  Oh and not just Church of Grace has to pray you call can.  We would appreciate them greatly.   We should be finding out while you are sleeping.
I started packing a little more today.  Hoping that we wouldn't need much still in the apartment. We also have been trying to use up all the food in the refrigerator.  We just about hit everything right.
Pictures:
1.  Kailyn being the basketball.  She thought this was great fun.
2.  Alyssa waiting patiently for supper.
3.  Jaryd watching a show with Daddy on the TV
4.  Me cooking my last chicken dinner in Kirovograd.  (I Hope)
Hope the next blog is from Kiev.

For your sake, I hope it is, too!
Those passports can be a bugger! Ours sure were! I hope yours came through problem free and that you're on your way tomorrow.

The medicals and embassy are a breeze compared to everything else. Nothing to worry about there.

Traveling home was an adventure and a half for us! We took Matthew out of his orphanage Sat evening and caught an early morning flight back to Kiev the next morning. Matthew did NOT like it. He was terrified out of his brains and had never been in a seat belt before. The flights home didn't get any better. He screamed and rocked on all 4's from Hungary to New York--all 10 hours of it. Nice. We got no sleep.

We also all got frisked inside the glass box at JFK. The only thing we can think of as to why is that our kids were traveling on Ukrainian passports and we were on US ones. We were also traveling on 1 way tickets. We had overnighted in New York and entered the airport in the domestic terminal.

We cried big buckets when we landed in New York! God Bless America has never meant more...and who knew the water in Queens, New York could taste SOOO good??

I am praying for those passports as I write this. In no time at all you will be back home and able to get into a good routine.
